Who Is It For?

Men’s Rogaine Foam is for men with a general thinning of hair on the top of the scalp (vertex only). It is not intended for frontal baldness or a receding hairline. If your hair loss is more extensive or in a different area than shown on the carton, the product may not work.

How to Use

1. Prep hands with cold water. Rinse your fingers in cold water and dry them. Foam melts on contact with warm surfaces.
2. Open the child-resistant cap. Align the arrow on the cap with the arrow on the white ring, tilt the cap back and pull off.
3. Dispense onto a cold surface. Hold the can straight, upside down, and press the nozzle to dispense half a capful of foam onto a cold surface (such as a dish or cold hands).
4. Apply to the scalp, not the hair. Part your hair to expose the thinning area and massage the foam into the scalp. Repeat until all thinning areas are covered.
5. Close the cap and wash your hands. Snap the cap back on with the arrows not lined up, so it stays child-resistant. Wash your hands and any surface thoroughly after use.

Directions: Apply half a capful twice a day to the scalp in the hair loss area. Using more, or more often, will not improve results.

What to Expect

Hair regrowth takes time. Results may appear at around 2 months with twice-daily use, and some men need at least 4 months before seeing results. The amount of regrowth differs from person to person, and the product will not work for all men. Continued use is necessary to keep your regrowth, as hair loss will begin again if you stop. In a clinical study, hair growth was shown in men (mostly white) aged 18-49 who used it for 4 months.

Important Warnings

Extremely flammable. Avoid fire, flame or smoking during and immediately after application.

Do not use if:

1. you are a woman
2. your hair loss is different from that shown on the carton, or is on the front of the scalp
3. you have no family history of hair loss
4. your hair loss is sudden and/or patchy
5. you do not know the reason for your hair loss
6. you are under 18 years of age
7. your scalp is red, inflamed, infected, irritated or painful
8. you use other medicines on the scalp

Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease.

Do not apply to other parts of the body. Avoid contact with the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with large amounts of cool tap water.

Some people have experienced changes in hair color and/or texture.

Stop use and ask a doctor if you have chest pain, rapid heartbeat, faintness or dizziness; sudden, unexplained weight gain; swollen hands or feet; scalp irritation or redness; unwanted facial hair growth; or no hair regrowth after 4 months.

May be harmful if used when pregnant or breast-feeding.
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Storage

Store at controlled room temperature, 20°-25°C (68°-77°F). Contents are under pressure: do not puncture or incinerate the container, and do not expose it to heat or store it above 49°C (120°F). Keep the package, as it contains important information.
